The story so far.....
The development of a professional body for all people working in childcare –practitioners, owner managers and childminders, is in its infancy with a number of groups forming around the country. The first branch was established in Cork in 2005.

The Dublin branch was established in November 2009 when a group of childcare providers from across the city met to set up the first ACP Dublin Branch committee. Our focus now is on building up membership ahead of the official launch of the association on Saturday, 25th of September 2010.

(ACP Dublin Branch Committee 2009)
All ACP branches will meet in 16th October 2010 to discuss moving forward together and setting up a national ACP in Waterford.
